the details

First, you reach out and schedule a consultation. You know you need images whether they are for your business or your best four legged friend, the process is the same. You meet with us to discuss what you are needing for your session. Being a full service on location, we offer a range of options in terms of end products (both print and digital, depending on your session.)

initial meeting

For each session, once you have decided you want to work with us, we will have a more in-depth consultation to help guide the session plan.  We will discuss things like wardrobe, location and overall feel of the session.  

Once your date has been decided, we will invoice you for your session fee. You will be provided with a contract and release to sign. We ask all clients to sign these documents to protect both sides.

Excitement! It the week of your session! We will reach out to make sure we are a go for your session!

For on location business sessions, we will meet you at your session location to walk the site to make sure you know exactly how and where you want to have your session and identify possible issues before your session.

At the end of all our hard work and planning comes the best part: seeing your images and making your order selections!

For business clients, we will help you select your images based on the goals we discussed during your consultations with us.

Jennifer updated her social media profile.  We did a grouping of color and black and white images for her social media and LinkedIn profile.

Erin needed to update her headshots and personal branding images she intended to use for her speaking profile.  Erin owns & operates Free State Marketing.

Dan needed some images for his dating profile. We did his session in Old Town.  I've heard through the grapevine, he's off the market, proof good photos work!

I THINK I NEED HEADSHOTS BUT I'M JUST NOT SURE?? HELP!

There is a difference between head shots and personal branding. Head shots can be a photo ranging from a more formal yearbook head and shoulders look to you at a park in a great outfit that you want to use for your LinkedIn to god help me a well composed (which can be very challenging for some) selfie. Sometimes you don't need a formal headshot but more so a more modern take on the yearbook style photo that appear all over LinkedIn. If you need more of a portrait, let's book a portrait session. I NEED BOTH HEADSHOTS AND PERSONAL BRANDING PHOTOS TOO?

WHAT IS A COMMERCIAL LICENSE?

When you receive your order, you will receive a commercial usage license. This means that you can use your image for commercial purposes such as the social media and written publication materials.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE IMAGES I DON'T PURCHASE?

I take many images during a session. In preparation for your view and choose appointment (about 1-2 weeks after your session), I select the images that best reflect the requirements of your needs and that are technically sound.

DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS? CAN I EDIT THEM TO MATCH MY STYLE FOR IG ETC.?

I do basic editing. Yes, with your commercial license, you can edit to match your IG needs.

CAN YOU HELP ME PICK OUT WHAT TO WEAR?

Absolutely! We can discuss what to wear during our pre-session consults and you are welcome to send me images of possible outfits.

WHAT IS THE KITCHEN SINK DISCOVERY PROGRAM?

So many business owners know they need help with their visual presence. The answer is get photos done. Simple right? Not so much. Without a plan, and some for thought, "just needing some photos" is a waste of money. The Kitchen Sink is designed to cover as many aspects of a photo session and its results as possible. The Kitchen Sink is an expansive questionnaire to find how we can help your business create content that will be useful in communicating your visual message as cohesively as possible.

WHY DO YOU DO A LOCATION SCOUTING BEFORE MY SESSION?

Simple. To save time on the day of the session. If we know a general plan, your session should go smoother. If we find a great spot on session day, of course we can incorporate it.

DO YOU DO DATING SITE PROFILE PHOTOS?
